Cambodia & Border of Thailand and Myanmar

H2Optimistic Project

At The Khan Foundation, we are committed to transforming lives through sustainable solutions, and our H2Optimistic Project is a testament to this mission. Currently, we are proud to support and expand ‘The Water Gift’ initiative in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and along the Thai/Myanmar border. These areas face critical challenges with e-coli-contaminated water, threatening the health and well-being of communities.

Through our partnership with ‘The Water Gift’, The Khan Foundation is actively involved in providing essential aid to 200 families on the ground. Our efforts focus on distributing water stickers that promote safe drinking water practices. Moreover, we are dedicated to empowering local high school students and villagers through comprehensive training in water management and entrepreneurial activities. This includes teaching innovative techniques like the sale of SODIS-treated water, which not only enhances local economies but also ensures sustainable access to clean drinking water.

Looking ahead, The Khan Foundation envisions a future where clean water is a reality for all. We are steadfast in our commitment to expand our partnership with ‘The Water Gift’ and aspire to collaborate with globally recognised organisations such as the Red Cross and UNICEF. By forging these alliances, we aim to amplify our impact, further improving clean water access and public health outcomes in remote and underserved areas worldwide.
