Purabi Khan, Co-Founder and Board Member

Purabi is a passionate and dedicated educator committed to fostering a love for learning in her students, with a specialised focus on interdisciplinary pedagogy, fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments and curriculum development that promotes academic and personal growth of young learners.

As an experienced and committed educator, Purabi strives to explore innovative, efficient and sustainable ways in which education can play a major role in leading social changes. Social Change refers to the transformation or alteration of social structures, institutions, behaviours, and norms within a society. It involves a significant shift in the way individuals, groups and communities think, behave and interact with one another. Social change can occur at various levels, including- individual, community, organisational and societal levels.

Purabi is passionate about using education as a tool to continuously drive social change by:

• fostering equality, equitability and inclusivity

I am a senior executive committed to developing ‘sustainability and scale’ in projects that make meaningful impact on the lives of the most vulnerable, particularly women and those with disability.

Covid has helped further expose the inequality gap and now there is, using the words of Nobel Peace Prize Winner Professor Muhammad Yunus “no going back”. Can we now generate a world that is based more on trust and integrity through a three-fold approach?

1. Can we develop an associative economics that balances the ‘maximum profit at all costs’ corporate structure which accentuates the richest shareholders getting super rich?
2. Can we generate a fair legal system for all, and equality amongst all peoples regardless of faith, gender, monetary background and
3. Can we generate a freedom for all people to pursue their own cultural and educational dreams whilst at the same time implementing best environmental practice in our lives?

Janine Sim, Secretary and Board Member

With over 10 years experience in Corporate & Business Banking, Janine has been assisting businesses and their owners achieve their financial goals through effective debt structuring.

During her time at CBA and Macquarie she enjoyed a long-term partnership approach with her clients, understanding what their needs are and working to a successful outcome.

She especially enjoys working with growing businesses and providing solutions to ensure the business can achieve ongoing growth with adequate capital support.

Bryan Santos, Board Member

Bryan has been working with businesses to grow and improve their sales and profitability since 2001.

Bryan has been working with small to medium sized businesses to help them grow since 2001. He has worked with hundreds of businesses in many industries, helping in the areas of cash flow improvement to staff and systems to growth by M&A.

He has built a unique way of seeing opportunities for growth where many haven’t been able to. Bryan’s expertise is in helping business owners who are frustrated with not growing fast enough. He does this mainly through innovative ways to grow businesses through Mergers and Acquisitions – often with no or little capital of their own.
